Royal Ballet School
By participating in The Affiliate Training and Assessment Programme (ATAP), Art of Dance provides our students with an opportunity to tap into The Royal Ballet School’s principles and expertise. This innovative initiative presents an alternative to the examination-centered approach commonly adopted by many recreational dance organisations. Instead, its core emphasis lies in delivering top-tier training rather than focusing solely on assessing students. ATAP's involvement enables our students to engage with a comprehensive approach to learning dance. In addition to refining technical and performance skills, ATAP students delve into the broader spectrum of dance education. This encompasses choreography, repertoire, and cultivating a genuine appreciation for the art form. This methodology is deeply rooted in the most up-to-date pedagogical concepts, with a focus on guiding children in mastering effective learning techniques, moving beyond the mechanical memorisation of exercises.
Royal Academy of Dance
The Royal Academy of Dance, a renowned institution, delivers meticulously designed dance examinations based on a thoughtfully curated syllabus. These examinations are crafted to establish a robust groundwork in ballet technique, musicality, and artistic expression. At Art of Dance, we extend the privilege of engaging in these examinations, starting from preschool levels with RAD Dance to your Own Tune and progressing through to Grade 8. This progression offers a comprehensive and structured path for dancers to elevate their skills and knowledge.
